Experience

Prior to joining Healthy Buildings International Limited, Mike Jamfrey spent four years studying at Reading University, gaining detailed Chemistry and Biological knowledge, gaining both a BSc and MSc qualification. Following this he spent a year working in building construction and gaining detailed knowledge of how buildings are "put together".

Since joining HBI in 1996 as a building consultant Mike has gained considerable practical experience in all aspects of building compliance, including Asbestos, Legionella, Noise, Health & Safety and Air Quality consultancy. Indeed, he has worked on many large scale projects, dealing with almost every type of property construction and use.

Following roles as Operations Manager and Commercial Director, in 2016, Mike took over as Managing Director of HBI.

With over 21 years of building compliance knowledge, Mike is regularly involved in assisting organisations managing their Health & Safety matters and can often be found writing policies and assisting in development of company strategies across portfolios of buildings.

Mike specialises in Water Safety and Asbestos Matters and has expertise in on-line compliance management systems and how they can be used to effectively manage compliance in building portfolios.

In addition to this he is accustomed to public speaking and undertaking presentations on industry matters.
